Spotlight

The report is a summary of the monitoring process of violations of freedom of ‎expression in the world. It includes what citizens using modern media and ‎journalists working in media organizations encounter in the frame of the UN efforts ‎to guarantee freedom of expression, freedom of the press and the public's right to ‎know and access information‏.‏

The report will be launched in three countries, namely; the University of the Punjab ‎in Lahore, Pakistan; Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda; and An-Najah ‎National University in Nablus, Palestine. An-Najah was chosen as the leading ‎university to launch the report in the Arab region based on the cooperation ‎agreement with HiOA.‎
