In December 2020, the Chair holder, Dr. Sana Al Sarghali, had the honor of visiting Noha Bazawir to extend congratulations on her appointment as the UNESCO Representative to Palestine and Head of Office. During this meeting, Dr. Al Sarghali had a valuable opportunity to discuss and present the work of the Chair, as well as its ambitious plans for the period from 2020 to 2024. The meeting served as a platform for fostering collaboration and exchanging ideas, further strengthening the ties between the UNESCO Chair and the UNESCO office in Palestine.

In September 2020, Dr. Sana Al Sarghali, the esteemed Chair holder, had a productive meeting with SG. Dr. Dawas Dawas to discuss the ongoing and upcoming activities of the Chair.

President of An-Najah University Prof. Abedel Naser Zaid, along with his assistant for community affairs and the UNESCO Chair fellow, Dr. Raed Debi and UNESCO Chair Holder, Dr. Sana AlSarghali had a special meeting with the Secretary General of Palestinian National Commission for Education, Culture and Science Dr. Dawas Dawas and two other representatives of the Commission. The primary focus of the meeting was to foster future cooperation and explore potential areas of collaboration. Discussions revolved around the important work carried out by the Commission and the valuable support it can offer. Dr. Al Sarghali took the opportunity to present the notable accomplishments, as well as the 2020 and 2021 reports of the Chair, showcasing its significant contributions in advancing human rights, democracy, and peace.
