The UNESCO Chair on Human Rights and Democracy participated in a conference held by the “Islamic ‎Civilization and Common Humanity” Chair in Muhammad V University in Rabat. The UNESCO Chair spoke ‎about “Our Thought in the Current Century”. The conference included papers about fundamentalist and ‎modernist thought; most of which were presented by new professors from Moroccan universities and PHD ‎candidates in the last stage before the PHD Viva Voce (i.e. prior to their thesis defense). The conference was ‎also attended by a number of professors from Morocco, Egypt, Lebanon and Palestine, who also made ‎comments on the papers of PHD candidates.‎
